Wow, looks like somebody’s been hitting the gym in hopes for a Hollywood comeback! Actress Mischa Barton was spotted with a male companion (assuming that’s her latest sugar daddy) at the beach in Miami yesterday afternoon.

For the record, we searched long & hard for a full body shot of Mischa in her bikini, but there weren’t any to be found (yet). Looking hot while sitting & lounging in your bikini far easier than than cat-walking poolside while strutting your goods. 2011 introduced us to Paula LaBaredas. What started (and probably still continues) as a “WHO?”, Paula, though not a registered user to the site, is a follower of the site with her retweets of our posts featuring her. She’s risen, to the dismay of some readers, to be a normal mainstay when photos of her become available. It’s been months since we last posted Paula to the dismay of your MoeJackson editors so here’s to hoping in 2012 that Paula 1) gets better friends (i.e. ditch Phoebe Price) 2) tells her hot friends not to consider our Facebook Friend Requests as SPAM and 3) lands another movie role that requires nudity; it’s already been over 3 years since the Direct-to-DVD release Bachelor Party 2: The Last Temptation. Perhaps her next Direct-to-DVD role as Maria Strauss in Showgirls 2: Penny’s from Heaven?

Baz Luhrmann Injured On ‘The Great Gatsby’

This week Warner Bros released the first official stills for Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby. Now Australian news reports say an on-set injury to the filmmaker forced an early end to this year’s shooting of the pic due in theaters next Christmas. The director cracked his head on a camera crane, as detailed by co-producer Anton Monsted to the Sydney Morning Herald: ”We were on quite a cramped set and he was ducking under the crane. He struck his head on the weights on the end of the camera crane. He split open his head and we had to get the doctor.” Producers decided to stop filming and allow the cast and crew to get home for Christmas a day earlier than planned. Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire, et al will return for additional shots in the new year. The hot $125M budgeted pic has been shooting at Fox Studios and locations around Sydney for the past 83 days.

2011 brought us the third film in the Transformers franchise. Transformers: Dark of the Moon released over the summer with one obvious difference, Megan Fox and her character Mikaela Barnes was replaced by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as Carly Spencer, the new love of Shia LaBeouf’s Sam Witwicky character. Whether Megan was fired by Michael Bay or she quit, box office success for the movie was inevitable as it grossed over $1,000,000,000, yup, that many zeros.

With Megan out of the picture, the number of posts of Megan reduced and 2011 became the year of Rosie has she was named #1 on Maxim’s Hot 100 list and it seemed like we did multiple posts of her on a weekly basis. Megan had dismal results for her lone 2011 release Passion Play. Look for Megan in 2012′s Friends With Kids while Rosie will continue to ride her popularity of 2011 into the new year.

L.A.: BREAKING!! Megan Fox Hit Abercrombie & Fitch @ The Grove!

For some reason, I thought Megan Fox had better taste in clothes, but I guess she’s keeping it real & sticking to mall brands during these difficult economic times. Then again, don’t people in Europe worship Abercrombie & Fitch? These were snapped yesterday afternoon as Megan hit the popular Grove shopping center w/ her facialist (yes, there’s such a profession), Mindi Walters.

Anyway, as we mentioned in our previous Megan Fox posts, the sexy “Transformers” hottie is attempting to make a big comeback in 2012. Next year is slowly shaping up to become an important year in Megan Fox’s career as she transitions from the “that hot chick in ‘Transformers’” to a token hottie in various upcoming comedy flicks. She’s involved in a total of three films including Sacha Baron Cohen’s “The Dictator,” Judd Apatow’s upcoming comedy “This is Forty” (Jason Segel, John Lithgow, Paul Rudd & Leslie Mann) & a small indy film my John Hamm’s longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt.
