EXCLUSIVE: I have learned that Joy Behar will leave HLN at the end of the year. Behar, who has hosted her primetime talk show on the CNN sibling since 2009, is in the final year of her contract there. She has done well on HLN, where her The Joy Behar Show is the second-highest-rated behind Nancy Grace. “It just felt it was time for everyone,” an insider said. Comedian-writer-actress Behar will continue as a co-host of ABC’s The View, where she is under a long-term deal, while also exploring new opportunities, possibly within HLN’s parent company Turner Broadcasting. At HLN, Behar was one of two anchors to juggle a primetime cable talker and a daytime show, along with Grace, who left the syndicated Swift Justice this past summer to focus on her HLN program.

NBC brass’ blessing was key in Piers Morgan landing his talk show host gig on CNN because he was under contract at the broadcast network as a judge on America’s Got Talent. Now Morgan is leaving NBC, which allowed him to fulfill his dream of succeeding Larry King, and the reality series that established him in the US to focus on his struggling primetime show on CNN. Morgan made the announcement on the CNN program, Piers Morgan Tonight. “I’m leaving America’s Got Talent,” he said. (video below) “I’ve been there since the show began 6 years ago and have loved every second of it but discovered that juggling is a bit more difficult than I thought.” NBC recently renewed the veteran talent competition for next summer.

Two months into it freshman run, Anderson Cooper’s daily syndicated talk show has been renewed for a second season. The show’s core station group, Fox TV Stations, has renewed the Telepictures-produced show on its stations in Los Angeles (KTTV-TV), Chicago (WFLD-TV) and Boston (WFXT-TV), and has picked up the series for its stations in New York (WNYW-TV), Minneapolis (KMSP-TV) and Tampa (WTVT-TV). This represents an upgrade for Anderson, which currently airs on Tribune’s WPIX in New York. LIN’s incumbent stations also have renewed the show, which also has been cleared in Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix and Jacksonville. “The show is off to a good start and has the opportunity to grow organically into something unique,” said Telepictures president Hilary Estey McLoughlin. While not a breakout hit, Anderson is doing decently in the ratings, averaging a 1.4. The series is distributed by Warner Bros Domestic TV Distribution.

To celebrate tonight’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, we’re doing a hastily compiled retrospective from over the years. The show will probably go down at its usual venue, the Lexington Avenue Armory in NYC and CBS will air the fashion show on November 29. As we noted earlier, everyone knows the fashion will kick ass, but musical acts during the show include Kanye, Cee Lo & Maroon 5! Fucking sweet!
Enjoy the flashback…

As most of you bastards know, Victoria’s Secret chose Miranda Kerr to pimp their annual fantasy bra during their fall runway show on November 9 in NYC. The runway show will air November 29 on CBS. Judging by the cost of the bra, you can tell times are rough for even the rich. How can you go from a $15 million bra worn by Gisele Bundchen in 2000 to a $2.5 bra in 2011. I understand it’s a niche market, but over the past decade, the filthy rich have only gotten richer.
Anyway, here’s more about the upcoming runway show. The show will feature the following models strutting their booties down the runway: Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrósio, Lindsay Ellingson, Erin Heatherton, Chanel Iman, Doutzen Kroes, Miranda Kerr, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel, and Anne Vyalitsyna. This year, Maroon 5, Kanye West and Cee Lo Green will bust the tunes, so that’s a 100x improvement over last year’s Katy Perry bullshit. I’m already looking forward to the performance, but I don’t know whether horndogg Kanye West will be able to keep his hands off the models as they walk past him?
For those of you interested, here’s a list of all the Fantasy Bras:

via Wivb.com:
With his new show just two weeks old, Anderson Cooper flew the parents and sister of Jamey Rodemeyer to New York for his one hour show that focused on bullying.
“To see Jamey, to see him on that video where he himself is reaching out to other people who are being bullied to try to tell them that it gets better, and then to know that no matter what he said, a few months later he took his own life, I mean it’s just sickening. I lost a brother to suicide. I know what that grief is like and I just wanted to do something. I just think it’s important to continue to talk about it and to focus and shine a light,” said Cooper.
Cooper brought in child psychologists, the Williamsville School Superintendent, he interviewed George Richert about News 4′s coverage of the story, and even Jessica Ramini, the Williamsville North student who admitted to News 4 that she has been guilty of bullying in the past.

Is Chuck Lorre dying to tell his side of the Charlie Sheen saga? Lorre’s vanity card at the end of tonight’s Two and a Half Men episode could be a clue. With man-possessed overtones, the latest of his traditional end-credits notes appears to cast the newly legally settled Men debacle as a reality show starring Lorre, who now has an undead “thing” inside him scratching to get out:
CHUCK LORRE PRODUCTIONS, #351
Sometime last year I realized I had become the unwilling contestant in a reality show. I didn’t understand the rules, wasn’t sure if there even were any, and pretty much hated every second of it. For many months I kept hoping and praying that it would end. But it did not. Somewhere along the way, something inside me died. Anyway, now, suddenly, I’m being told that the reality show’s been cancelled. Apparently, it was just one of those things that somehow got out of control. Sorry. Whoops. Live and learn. Moving on. Game over. And that’s fine. I am so good with that. Yes, please, let’s all move on. There’s just one problem. That thing inside me that died? It walks at night. It’s angry. It’s hungry. And worst of all…it’s writing a tell-all book.
