Real shocker, right?

Last Thursday we were speculating the couple probably won’t make it until summer, 2012–assuming they could fight past the holidays into the new year, of course. Long story short, TMZ is reporting that Kim Kardashian is seeking a divorce on the grounds of ‘irreconcilable differences’ and the date date of separation is listed as today (October 31). On Planet Kim, “irreconcilable differences” means “I wanted to go out dinner with my entire family & he wanted it to be just us two for once” or of course, “He keeps missing his bi-weekly mani/pedi appointments and that proves he’s not committed to the marriage.”

To get things moving in her favor, Kim has even hired top celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser, who has dealt with the likes of Britney Spears, Maria Shriver & Angelina Jolie. If Kim can make money getting married, there’s no reason she can’t cash in with the divorce! Look for the whole thing to be televised, complete with a star-studded divorce party!

So, what caused these two to call things off so quickly? Was the wedding just a scheme for the Kardashian family to earn more money and fame or was it all the pressure from the media? One thing is for sure, though, Kim’s evil mom Kris Jenner probably had a major hand in the breakup.
