This was taken earlier today as troubled Lindsay Lohan arrived at the courthouse in Beverly Hills to face Judge Elden Fox after failing two mandatory drug tests. Lindsay was taken from the courtroom in handcuffs.
The judge apparently denied Lindsay bail, so technically she could be sitting behind bars until October 22nd (hopeful, but doubtful).
So, what’s everyone’s take? Is Lindsay doing this simply to extend the life of her dying career or does she really have a serious problem? And, if she does indeed have a problem, when will she snort & drink more than she can handle?

Lindsay Lohan Expects An Apology
I cannot believe this! After having served a FRACTION of her three month sentence, and getting off incredibly easy, Lindsay Lohan now wants an apology from the California courts for having put her through the whole ordeal. Supposedly the UCLA Medical Center said that she has been misdiagnosed with ADD and doesn’t actually have bipolar disorder or is addicted to drugs as previously stated.
Instead, medics believe it is possible her prescription for Adderall, which treats ADD, led to her erratic behaviour, meaning the 24-year-old star feels her sentence was unfair

As of right now Lindsay is said to be looking at her legal options, though one expert says she does not stand a chance.

EXCLUSIVE UPDATE 6:30 PM: We’ve just learned the backstory of how Ellen DeGeneres bowed out of American Idol and who will be the new judge taking her place. It’s Jennifer Lopez,

Breaking News: Lindsay Lohan Goes To Jail
Lindsay Lohan was remanded into custody only minutes ago. The actress reportedly arrived at the courthouse at 8:37 am PDT (only seven minutes late!) with her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley (Robert Shapiro withdrew as Lindsay’s attorney after meeting with the judge in chambers yesterday).
Someone reportedly threw confetti on Lindsay as she entered the courthouse. Really! Was that necessary?
Here is some of what happened:
8:42 a.m.: Lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley is speaking for Lindsay in court, saying Robert Shapiro was a “consultant” on the case.
8:45 a.m.: The judge talked about Lindsay entering a rehab program within 24 hours of getting out of jail. As Lohan was remanded into custody at 8:46 a.m. the cameras were ordered to be shut off. Lohan said nothing. [Legal commentator] Opri noted the “judge showed great compassion for ordering the cameras off” as the handcuffs were going on.
TMZ reports Lindsay “took it like a champ” when she was being cuffed (meaning no tears or drama, I guess).
Lindsay is expected to serve only about a third of her sentence due to over-crowding, according to People.
Maybe this will be the wake-up call for Lindsay.

Sources everywhere are reporting that Judge Marsha Revel just handed down a sentence to Lindsay Lohan violated probation by failing to attend her alcohol education class according to the schedule set by the judge. Lilo is said to serve anywhere from 23-90 days in the slammer for violating the terms of her probation. Here she is leaving the courtroom after the hearing.
