We snapped Lindsay Lohan arriving at a Los Angeles Court house for her probation hearing. According to all reports, the hearing went really well!
TMZ.com reports:
A very surprised Judge Stephanie Sautner began by saying, “Miss Lohan, you have actually done your work.”
The judge noted Lindsay actually completed her 12 days of community service early. And she went to an extra therapy session — 5 instead of the required 4. The judge also said the morgue was pleased by the work Lindsay has done there “at least as pleased as a morgue can be.”

UPDATED: During the MTV Networks session at TCA, MTV EVP and programming head David Janollari announced that the network has renewed for a seventh season its reality series America’s Best Dance Crew, executive produced by American Idol judge Randy Jackson. The network also said it will bring back Fantasy Factory for a fifth season. And NBC’s comedy classic Friends is being picked up by Nick at Nite for nightly run beginning Sept. 6. It kicks off with a 10-hour marathon that night and runs weeknights at 10 thereafter.
After being feted at Comic-Con in San Diego last weekend, it was a smaller and less enthusiastic but equally supportive audience that met Mike Judge this afternoon for a panel promoting the new incarnation of his iconic toon Beavis and Butt-head to MTV beginning Oct. 21. Lilo Claims She Can’t Afford Treament
Lilo’s woes aren’t to blame on personal choices but on two things- financial troubles and the paparazzi she claims. After court mandated counseling orders, Lindsay Lohan claims she can’t afford it. According to People Magazine:
Lindsay Lohan, on probation since her release from house arrest in June, can’t afford court-ordered psychological treatment, her lawyer told a Los Angeles court on Thursday.
The actress’s attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, told the judge Lohan hasn’t been able to maintain her UCLA psychological treatment because of “financial issues.” But that didn’t sway the judge, who gave Lohan 21 days to show proof that she’s enrolled in counseling.
“If she doesn’t have the means [to pay for it], she’s got to find someone to help her out,” Judge Stephanie Sautner said at the hearing.
Lohan then indicated to the court she’d figure out a way to make it work. Complicating matters, she says she can’t attend more affordable group counseling because paparazzi issues would disrupt the sessions.
The actress, 25, was in court for a standard progress report and was acknowledged to be in good standing in general.
She had served just 35 days of home confinement at her Venice, Calif., townhouse for pleading no contest to misdemeanor necklace theft.

FRIDAY: Here’s why there’s still no announcement about Fox’s decision to replace UK pop singer Cheryl Cole as a judge on the American version of The X Factor after they saw her Los Angeles auditions: it’s not done yet. To avoid looking like he beat up Britain’s sweetheart, executive producer Simon Cowell is trying to make sure that Cole can go back to being a judge on the UK version of his show which starts filming next Wednesday. But those judges are already set and that talent competition has been thrown into choas as well. Now the lawyers are trying to look for loopholes so Cole can save face. She’s already returned to Britain along with Cowell. If they can’t, then there’s still the very slim possibility that she could stay on board the U.S. series while waiting-in-the-wings replacement Nicole Schezinger will stay as co-host. Judge Lifts Rihanna’s Restraining Order Against Chris Brown

Two years after Chris Brown assaulted his then-girlfriend Rihanna, an L.A. judge decided to give the R&B superstar a second chance.
During a court hearing in L.A. Tuesday, a judge replaced Rihanna’s previous restraining order with a level one order, meaning that the exes can have contact provided Brown, 21, does not harass, annoy or molest the “S&M” singer.
According to TMZ, Rihanna, 23, did not appear in court, though her attorney Donald Etra did. He informed the judge that Rihanna has no objections to the new order.
In August 2009, L.A. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg put a five-year restraining order in effect, which required Brown to stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna (real name: Robyn Fenty). If the two planned to attend the same industry event, the proximity was reduced to 10 yards.
As part of the same ruling, the “Yeah 3X” singer was required to serve five years probation and to spend more than 1,400 hours in “labor-oriented service.” Brown completed his court-mandated domestic violence classes in December 2010.

So, does anyone know whether Cheryl Cole will be one of the judges on Simon Cowell’s US version of his “X Factor” Show? Nobody except Simon is confirmed.
Here’s the latest on the judge situation from the show’s Wiki:
At the time of announcing the U.S. version, Cowell was the only confirmed judge for the show. Although soon after, speculation had already began as to who might be joining him on the panel. His former American Idol colleague Paula Abdul, was quickly linked to the role, as were two of his colleagues from the British X Factor, Louis Walsh and Cheryl Cole. In January 2010, Cowell spoke to The New York Post about his new show. In the interview he did not confirm any of the new judges but said that Cole would be a good addition to the show, “I think she would be great over here – Cheryl’s a star.” However, he did confirm that he was taking the choices of who to join him on the show very seriously. “It’s pointless hiring judges who don’t know anything about the music business. I’ll probably go and find someone who did what I did for a living. I was an A&R guy for 20 years.” On January 19, 2010 Britain’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent judge, Piers Morgan, expressed his interest to join the show. “I would love to work with Simon on it as we have a laugh on Britain’s Got Talent.” He said regardless of who’s on the panel he was confident that the show would be “huge” in the United States and that it was time for him and Cowell to be on the same judging panel in the United States.
