Lindsay Lohan Admits To Failing Drug Test
And THIS is why early discharges from rehab are generally a bad idea {sigh}. Lindsay Lohan confessed on twitter that she had, indeed, failed a drug test.
Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result.
TMZ is now reporting that Lindsay actually failed two drug tests. In addition to landing her in jail, this setback could also further derail Lindsay’s career, according to TMZ.
Lindsay is now relying on Judge Elden Fox to allow her to leave California to shoot “Inferno” in Louisiana and possibly fly to New York City for “Saturday Night Live.”
Here’s the problem. Sources connected with the case have been telling TMZ … if Lindsay were to fail a drug test the judge would probably pull the plug on out-of-state-travel — a privilege for Lindsay, not a right.
…But all bets are off now that Lindsay has flunked two tests.
And sources close to Lindsay somehow already know the big wigs on “Inferno” are pissed that she may have screwed up again, so flying to Louisiana may be a moot question.
You can’t really blame the ‘Inferno’ producers for being upset. It looks like the best thing for Lindsay at this point is a long-term stay in an inpatient facility that focuses solely on drug abuse (not drug problems and psychiatric problems, which is what the UCLA program did).
This is really just TOO sad.

Paris Hilton Accepts Plea Deal
Paris Hilton does it again. E! News reports that the celebutante has accepted a plea deal that includes pleading guilty to misdemeanor drug possession and obstructing an officer.
In return, she avoids being charged with felony cocaine possession and gets two consecutive six-month jail sentences suspended. Translation: Paris won’t have to spend a night in jail.
“We fashioned a resolution which would give us complete control over her future,” Clark County District Attorney David Roger told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “If she does not toe the line and stay out of trouble, she will do one year in the Clark County Detention Center.”
Paris reportedly will enter her plea on Monday. She will be on probation for one year, have to complete a drug abuse program, pay a fine of $2000, and complete 200 hours of community service (brace yourself for those pictures- LOL).
Does this sound fair to you or do you want to see Paris serve some time? Honestly, I think you could stick Paris in jail for five years, and it wouldn’t change a thing.

I told you yesterday about Russell Brand being arrested after allegedly getting into an altercation with a paparazzo. Here are the pictures of Russell and Katy Perry arriving at the airport before the scuffle broke out.

If it’s true that the paparazzo was trying to get a picture under Katy’s skirt, then the paparazzo is the one who should’ve been arrested! Talk about crossing the line. And I’ve heard of paparazzi trying to do that, so it doesn’t sound so improbable to me.
Hopefully this will be resolved without too much fuss.

I hope they make some time to go out and celebrate this evening: Ben’s new movie, ‘The Town,’ is projected to be the #1 movie this weekend! It was expected to come in #2 behind the teen movie ‘Easy A,’ but unless the teens turn out in force tonight, ‘The Town’ is expected to win the weekend.

Report: Paris Hilton Might Avoid Jail Time For Drug Arrest
Reportedly, Paris Hilton has been offered a sweet deal in her drug arrest case. A source tells E! that she could avoid jail completely if she pleads guilty to one drug count and one charge of lying to a police officer – both misdemeanors, instead of the original felony charge of drug possession. The downside would be that she’d have to admit that the purse and the drugs were hers – I don’t know if she’ll be up for that.
Her arraignment is on October 27th and her lawyer is keeping mum. The Clark County D.A. wouldn’t comment on the plea agreement, but did share this with E!:
“Possession of a controlled substance is a felony punishable by a minimum term of one year and a maximum term of four years. She may also be fined up to $5,000. This charge is probationable, so the court could sentence her to a term of probation, rather than prison time.”
I have to admit that I’m curious to see how this is going play out. Either way it goes, it’ll be a media circus.

Lindsay Lohan Reunites With Her Family In New York And Goes Back To Work?
TMZ has the picture of Lindsay Lohan’s reunification with her family in New York City (click here to see it). She reportedly posed for the picture on Friday, when she arrived in New York from Los Angeles. It’s the first time Lindsay’s seen her family since she got out of rehab, according to TMZ.
TMZ says Lindsay will be in New York until Wednesday to celebrate mom Dina Lohan’s birthday. Yet E! News reports the ‘Machete’ actress is there for another reason. I’ll put it after the break if you want to read about Lindsay’s reported first job since her release (it is a surprise, and I can’t even say what about, because that would give it away .
