“I know that I’m going to be a target,” Bieber said two days after the he was accused of fathering Mariah Yeater’s child, “but I’m never going to be a victim.”
Now Justin has taken the test and the world awaits the results.
People.com Reports:
Bieber has taken a paternity test in New Jersey, according to a TMZ report.
The pop star, 17, reportedly went to a lab to take the test under “very controlled circumstances,” and now Yeater, 20, just has to provide DNA from her child.
A rep for Bieber had no comment on the paternity test but a source told PEOPLE the singer planned to submit DNA last Friday.
Although Yeater’s lawsuit was dropped last week, her new team of lawyers says she still wanted to pursue her claim outside the courtroom.
One of lawyers, Chicago-based attorney Jeffrey M. Leving, previously told PEOPLE he was negotiating with Bieber’s counsel to reach a confidentiality agreement to get private testing and results.

FRIDAY PM/SATURDAY AM UPDATE: Seriously, do movie moguls get into showbiz just to greenlight unnecessary remakes of teen movies and horror movies or unfunny comedies that humiliate big stars like Friday’s film fare? Maybe that’s why audiences are rebelling. According to tonight’s estimates, my sources say the North American box office is looking very weak again for this weekend. As a longtime studio exec worried out loud to me tonight: “I’m really concerned about how soft things are. Numbers were looking better during the day. But I’m sitting here looking at grosses tonight and I’m concerned for the Industry. What’s worrying me is where are those hardcore movie fans at this point?” Well, I say Hollywood should expect the worst when they release a lot of dreadful pics over recent weeks. This weekend’s total gross won’t edge much over $80M — which is a whopping -35% from last year when Jackass 3D opened to $50M. (I know what you’re thinking: Who are the jackasses now?) Lady Gaga has plans for having children and for making music, but she’s got a very particular order for the two. She appeared on England’s The Jonathan Ross Show this week and revealed her timeline.
Starpulse.com Reports:: “I’m a maternal person but I’m not feeling the urge to be pregnant. Some day I will but not now,” she says. “Oh my gosh, the fans would kill me. I’m just not ready. I really want to make at least 10 more albums before I do something like that.”
When asked if there’s anyone special in her life that might be suited to help her out in the future, she cryptically replied, “You know I don’t talk about my love life but I’m very happy,” leading to speculation that she is dating someone. Perhaps her on-again/off-again relationship with Luc Carl is on again – or could there be someone else? We’ll have to wait and see.
