Cable channel A&Esays it is planning a reality show which will star the late singer Michael Jackson’s brothers.
According to a report from The New York Times, A&E has confirmed that it has ordered the show, but that details are still being worked out with the program’s production company, Point 7 Entertainment.
So far, no clue about the format of the series, or when it might air.
The Times said the series grew out of a one-hour special about the brothers that A&E had planned before Michael Jackson’s June 25 death.
The channel reportedly started taping footage last January of brothers Jermaine, Jackie, Marlon, Randy and Tito preparing for a possible musical reunion.
Executive producer Jodi Gomes said Tuesday the expanded series would focus on the Jackson’s as they reunite as brothers underneath a cloud of tragedy.
