Angelina Jolie May Replace Charlize Theron In 'The Tourist'
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Charlize Theron has dropped out of her starring role in ‘The Tourist,’ and Angelina Jolie is in talks to replace her.
A remake of the French thriller “Anthony Zimmer” from 2005, “Tourist” centers on an American tourist who, on behalf of Interpol, goes undercover to entrap a former lover who’s a suspected global criminal. It follows in the long tradition of innocents caught up in shady activities abroad that dates back to Hitchcock (“The Man Who Knew Too Much”), Polanski (“Frantic”) and beyond, and a theme that also has contemporary echoes with “Taken” this past year.
Sam Worthington (‘Terminator: Salvation’) will play the American tourist. This role sounds perfect for Angelina, doesn’t it?

Ellen DeGenerous to Replace Paula Abdul on American Idol
It looks like American Idol has found a permanent replacement for Paula Abdul.

Sources say Idol execs are gearing up to announce the deal that would make DeGenerous next in line for the coveted judges seat. DeGenerous would permanently replace Abdul, who quit American Idol earlier this year over salary disputes.
In a news release provided by FOX, DeGenerous says she’s looking forward to her new gig:
“I’m thrilled to be the new judge on American Idol. I’ve watched since the beginning, and I’ve always been a huge fan. So getting this job is a dream come true, and think of all the money I’ll save from not having to text in my vote.”

Mark Wahlberg Takes Daughter To The American Girl Place
Proving there’s more too him than the macho man he plays on screen,
Mark Wahlberg surprised everyone by taking his daughter, Ella Rae, to American Girl Place in Hollywood. In case you don’t know, American Girl is a cafe where young girls can take their dolls to get their hair done, shop for new doll outfits and even have tea/lunch with their miniature best friends. What I would give to see him there playing dolls. Makes me like him even more : )
In recent Marky-Mark news, Mark is set to be starring in the upcoming film adaption of ‘The Lovely Bones’. I’m a fan of the book, so I’m extremely interested to see how it will play out.
